Trying to Get Pregnant

Pomegranate Green Tea

This may be a "duh" post for those of you near a Whole Foods, but The People's Republic of Tea sells a decaffinated pomegranate green tea that is really quite tasty...almost sweet so if you don't like the taste of regular green tea, this is a good option.  And maybe you get some of the benefits of pomegranate too (no, I don't own stock in the company)

  • That sounds delicious!

Drinking Green Tea can possibly help increase your EWCM. In the "New to TTGP" link it tells you to drink it from CD 1 through O.

  • @OP I'm pretty sure the pom-drinkers around here insist that it must be 100% juice to get the benefits. Personally, I don't *believe* in the alleged TTC benefits of pom or green tea....

Green tea has many health benefits but it does have alot of caffeine in it so I would get de-caf if you want to start drinking it....

Hmm An 8-oz cup of green tea has on average 25 mg caffeine....

And just for good measure... It's "a lot" not "alot."

That alot is adorable; never gets old.

Re: pom green tea.  Supposedly, one is to drink 8 oz a day of the pure juice to get the "benefits", so I don't think a few bits of dried pom in a tea bag along with some "natural flavors" are going to do the trick.  POM does, however, make a bottled green tea with actual pom juice in it, which I for one would "count" as going towards the 8 oz a day.

But only if you spin around in a circle 3 times before drinking and hold the beverage in your left hand, of course.

Hahahahaa, agreed.  Though I posted it, I too am quite skeptical.  I feel like POM has gotten WAAAAY too trendy recently for my tastes, whereas at least the antioxidant benefits of green tea have been touted for centuries, so that's the wives' tale I'll indulge in.  And I like the sweet taste.  :)
