a different fleece liner question

What type of fleece do you use for liners?  I asked my MIL to pick some up for me at Joann Fabrics, and they had three types: no-pill fleece, sweatshirt fleece, and polar fleece.  The employees, who have never seen the new cloth diapers, suggested using thermal cloth (like long underwear material).  What do you use?
