I needed a c/s on May 14 due to fetal distress, and I've always been curious about the link between maternal age and c/s. I am 27 years old.[Poll]

First off, love the pic! the outfit is adorable (and baby too of course!)

 

I had dd 4 days before my 24th birthday.  DD turned breeches days before I had to have my water broke, due to being really dilated.

I know 1 person my age who had a csection and we aren't really close (this in common is actually bringing us closer), it's hard because none of my friends who have babies can understand my emotions.

I think it's pretty well documented that c/s risk increases with age.  There are lots of studies on cesarean risk factors.  If you go put maternal age cesarean into Google, you can find lots of info.
