Fabric question

1 1/2 yards should be enough for a dress (12 mo) and a diaper, right?  I ordered two last time and it was WAY too much.  A diaper cut leaves 32" for the dress if I'm doing the math right.

Sounds about right.  Depends on the pattern and if you want a good cut (if the fabric pattern needs it).  Many of my patterns say a dress is anywhere between 5/8s of a yard to a whole yard.

Thank you!  I specifically picked fabrics that have smaller, repetitive patterns so I think the 32" left over should be fine (I hope!)
