How often do you wash your washcloths?

Just wondering because I never use the same washcloth twice without laundering it in between. MH thinks its a little neurotic, but I'm kinda grossed out by putting a washcloth on his face, then all over his balls/butt, then back on his face the next day. It helps that we have tons of baby washcloths, but does anyone else do this or do you just use the same one the next day?

Nope, we're the same.  LO's wash cloths are single use, and then washed.

If I've just used it on hands & face, I hang it up to reuse the next day... if it's been anywhere near her bits or butt, it's in the laundry!!

wash after every use! maybe it's just the nurse in me, but i don't like thinking that bacteria is growing anywhere on a wet washcloth and then on my child's face

I wash after each use. And during bath time DD gets her own washcloth to suck on because I think it's a bit gross that she is sucking on the one I wash her with. So I have at least two each day to wash.

FWIW- I also wash DH and my towels after each use. DH thought that was really strange when we got married. I just like to have a clean towel when I get out of the shower, but I do realize that it's not really that dirty if you use it again the next day.

I usually used two cloths while bathing, one for body and face and the other for his bum and privates. The "privates" cloth always gets thrown in the wash, while the other one I would hang up and use one more time before going in the wash

Two washcloths, one goes on the girly bits, but both go in the wash every time. I  am a germaphobe with wash clothes though.

I use just one washcloth while bathing, but I use it on ds's face and hands first before cleaning his bottom. I have never reused a washcloth. I don't even reuse a washcloth for myself and throw dh's washcloth in the wash after he goes to work. Yes I'm a bit paranoid, but I just wouldn't feel like it's cleaning if it's not actually clean.

The ones I use in the bath, just the one time and then laundered. I use washcloths as drool rags and to wipe her mouth after feedings too. Those I just use for the day, and then switch.

Wash after every use! I do hang his towel up for one more use though.
