Found out at 20 weeks the first time, 19 weeks this time.

With my first I found out at 15 weeks with an elective ultrasound and I will do that again this time (next Wednesday!) but my A/S scan is schedule for exactly 18 weeks.

With DD, 16 weeks and with this little boy I was just shy of 15. I work in an OB clinic and am good friends with our u/s tech otherwise I would have found out at 20+ weeks like everyone else.
I had some test results come back abnormal and it was a whirlwind 24 hours between being told that news and getting the u/s where we found out and the amnio. As it turns out, our little guy is fine, but I'd have given about anything to have gotten to wait to my scheduled u/s at 20w.
20 weeks with DD and 20 with this LO if he/she's cooperative.
I honestly had never heard of elective ultrasounds before the Nest/TB. Nobody I know IRL has had one. But I have a lot of friends who are team green anyway.
DD born 10/10/07 * DS born 11/25/11 * #3 due 3/9/2015
First attempt (anatomy scan) on June 5 = Baby didn't cooperate. Was asleep & would not roll over or show us the goods.
So, we had to wait 4 weeks until July 5. Baby cooperated & we are Team Pink! We found out at 24 weeks, but I know that is late & individual to our situation.
My anatomy scan is July 13th. I will be 19 weeks. It was supposed to be at 20 weeks but I havent gained any weight and my doctor told me to reschedule it a week earlier cause Im nice and skinny? But I think the norm is 20 weeks. They get a better picture then and can see things clearer from what I heard.
i found out with both my previous 2 and will with this one at 20 weeks. But i think thats mostly because my dr doesn't perform ultrasounds in his office. All of them are done at the local hospital, at the Maternal Fetal Medicine Dept.
