Somehow she got out of the backyard yesterday...she's 9yr old and not big enough to jump over the fence and there's no holes under the fence. We're not sure how she got out but we're so sad. Jake went looking for her with me last night, he is so sad. Hearing him call for her and say "jersi! come home! I love you jersi! I miss you!!" as we're driving all over the place was breaking my heart. He's taking it better than me, but that's probably because he thinks she's coming back and I'm losing hope every hour. Its over 90 here, and we live near woods where there are coyotes...I hope she made it through the night. The "unknown" is what hurts the worst.
Re: our dog is gone. :'(
She said she was...
I'm so sorry. Hopefully some nice person found her and is keeping her safe for you. Put up signs everywhere, call the shelters (and petstores, vets, and animal control), talk to all the neighbors. Put out some food, water, and her bed.
I hope she's okay.

Your attitude is nasty.
You're an a**
The unknown is definitely the worst.
We lost our dog for two full days (summertime) in 2008. She had no collar, though she was microchipped.
My tips, put up waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more posters than you think you need to. Seriously, every lamppost and street sign and local businesses. Keep making the radius bigger and bigger. Post signs at dog parks, too.
Then go to www.findtoto.com and buy an ad. They'll make a phone call to every listed number in a certain radius with the info you provide. Calls started rolling in 30 seconds after I put out an alert on findtoto.
And search sun up to sun down. Take turns. Do it by foot. Do it by bike. Do it by car.
I must agree
