Obviously when your child is missing you don't say anything and go out and party....?!?! I just can't get over that. My heart breaks for that poor little girl.
Absolutely horrific. They said she'll probably end up getting out for time served. So curious to see what jurors say...that they needed the murder caught in camera??? Ugh. She'll be a millionaire by the end of the year. At least everyone knows the type of person she is so good luck living the rest of your life in peace. I wonder if her parents will take her back. They left court early.
This is disgusting. A little girl goes missing, her mother's car smells like decomposition, her mother goes out partying for a full month before telling anyone her daughter is missing, and somehow she gets away with it?
I think the jurors are going to speak to the media soon, can't wait to hear the ridiculous reasons they found her not guilty.
I mean, i get that some of the evidence wasnt entirely conclusive that Casey murdered her little girl, but really, I find it hard to believe any other scenario other than Casey killing Caylee. Casey lucked out but she obv has mental issues, and will have to live with this the rest of her life if she truly did kill her little girl.

I've read stuff about the "CSI effect" on juries. The mere fact that there is not enough forensic evidence doesn't mean that someone should not be convicted of a crime. It seems like some juries think that you must have DNA and other forensic evidence to convict someone, and that's just not true.
This makes me sick seeing her smiling and celebrating. She only gets 4 years and has already served three. She could be out by Christmas or even sooner if they decide on time served already. That poor little girl.

I can't believe it either...it's sort of like how I felt about the OJ verdict too. It's obvious she did it but apparently the state didn't prove beyond a reasonable doubt. The kicker is that Cindy said she did the searches on the chloraform but she was at work at the time. I hope they get her for lying.

one of my FB friends just posted "I wonder if there is a real-life Dexter out there watching Casey Anthony?" haha. I would imagine there will be many threats on her life... she'll never be able to walk the streets w/out a bodyguard... that's for sure!

This gets me - I wish (though I know they wont) the media/publishers/etc wouldnt give her book deals, TV time, etc - Se doesnt deserve any extra attention.

Jurors not speaking....shocking!!
The law is SO complex and the average juror just can't comprehend what reasonable doubt is.
I was thinking the same thing! She will not be safe for a very long time.
