NBR: Chiropractor recommendations?

Can you recommend a chiropractor? My BF's neck has been "clicking" (no pain though), and he thinks it is due to muscle strain. It has been going on for about 1 week now and he thinks a chiropractor may help?

He is also thinking about getting a neck massage, but would like to see a chiropractor just in case. If you recommend someone, that would be great.

Location- Preferably close to Mason/West Chester/Blue Ash area would be great!

Re: NBR: Chiropractor recommendations?

  • I'm probably biased, but my mom is a massage therapist at Wholecare Chiropractic. I've never been treated by the chiro there, but my sister went regularly when she lived here. I've also seen the massage therapists other than my mom, and I like them a lot.

    ETA: They're in Blue Ash

  • Thanks for the honest recommendation. I don't mean to sound naive, but are massage therapists and chiropractors the same thing? I would've assumed they were different?
  • Oh, they're very different. Dr. Jack Armstrong is the chiro there. I only mentioned the massage therapists because you mentioned that your H was considering both

  • Last summer I worked for Dr. Geier at Lakota Chiropractic.  I never went to him myself, but he really seemed to care about his patients and helping them.  They are on Liberty Way in West Chester.  (also, one of my sorority sisters goes to him and she loves him)  His wife Robin is the massage therapist

  • I have been seeing Dr Geier at Lakota Chiropractic for the past few weeks and can't rave about him enough.  His wife also works there and is the massage therapist.  They are both wonderful and words can't even explain how much they have helped me so far!!  They both have incredible bedside manner and really want to help you.  He has you do a hydromassage table and does adjustments, and Robin does the massages and has also really helped me with stretching techniques.  If the massage is medically necessary it is billed as physical therapy, but their cash prices are also great.  Their number is 777-8800.
