I have had so many comments lately that I'm so small considering I'm carrying twins... personally, I think I am gigantic and everyone is just being nice! LOL... so I measured last night.
Brace yourself... FOURTY NINE INCHES around at just shy of 31 weeks!!! Thought it might be fun to share...if any other ladies are measuring... or did measure their bellies
Re: How big is your belly!?
I had to measure, just to see. And I'm at 43 inches around at 28 weeks.
I get the, "you're so small" comment too. But I am just as big as I was full term with my son, down to my weight. So I know how you feel.
Oops! Not sure what happened there! Sorry guys...
I think maybe everyone thinks I'm tiny because of how GIGANTIC I got with just one baby in there! LOL
We've been measuring pretty regularly - I'm 44 inches around the waist. I can't imagine how big I'm going to get
Me too!!! Somehow I gained more and all over with one baby than I am with these two, so I get the 'you're tiny" a lot.
At 27 w 3 days I was measuring about 32 or 33 weeks. I don't have a tape measure though.
So...I figure people who dont know what to expect from a twin pg think I'm tiny b/c they're expecting a gargantuan belly (just wait lol) OR they mean tiny in comparison to the large-all-over way I carried my first baby!
I hate it when people tell me I look tiny! My mom always says it because she considers it a compliment - that and she always says "good girl!" when I tell her how much I have gained (only 8 pounds so far). Personally, I'd rather be huge! I think it's becuase this is my first pregnancy and I just want them to be getting big and strong in there. I'm not concerned with MY size at all!
Anyway, I'm measuring 38" around at 21 weeks. Not sure there is a "norm" but I hope I'm it!
Ditto on the long torso. I'm 5'11" and the height definitely helps carry the belly. I'm measuring 49 inches and tomorrow makes 39 weeks.
39 weeks?! Congrats!!! That's awesome! We're struggling to make it to 35 weeks; at this point every day is a battle.
OP, the last time I measured was 32w3d, and I was 42.5". I would guess I'm probably closer to 46 now, but I'm not sure!
