Please recommend Leapster2 games your kiddos love.

First - I feel like a total dummy. I assumed this thing charged via an AC adapter. I was ready to give up because it "wouldn't hold it's charge" (even after purchasing an AC adapter from leapfrog because I couldn't find the one that came with it - well DUH, none DID come with it!!!! Well, imagine my surprise when I opened the back and found it takes batteries!! I feel so stupid.  

Please recommend some games to take on a long road trips - ones your kids love? I'm guessing downloaded games are better than cartridges since I don't have to keep track of them! Are downloaded games as good as cartridge games?
