4. If you have already had #1 or are already thinking about it, how many people had their mom's in the delivery room? I'm torn on this. I love my mom, know she'd be supportive but I don't know how many people I want in there.....I don't know if it will be a let's wait and see how I feel thing but feel like I should let her know ahead of time.... ?Aimeejo

I told about 15 weeks (when I couldn't really hide it anymore

1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? 25, man I can't believe I am sixth down on the list on due dates coming up. Nothing new. I asked my doc about my rib pain at night. She thought it might be heart burn. I've been taking tums before I go to bed and it is helping keep the pain down. Go figure.
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? 28 weeks, I have to retake the Glucose test because I threw up the last one after I drank the stuff.
3. What are you looking forward to this week? Birthday Party on Friday night for a friend and the short work week!

I think I'll end up wanting her there. She can comfort me in ways H just doesn't get.

I told my two closest friends and immediate family right away. The rest I told after week 12. I did tell one coworker right away so at least one person would be looking out for me at work if I had problems. I did the same thing for her so I knew she could keep the secret.

Pregnant Questions
1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? 40 weeks! Still feeling pretty darn good...forgot to take my anti-nauseau meds the other day and STILL have 24/7 m/s without it.
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? Today at 2pm - routine appt., internal check, schedule tentative induction for 1.5-2 weeks (just in case this boy doesn't want to come out on his own)
3. What are you looking forward to this week? short work week maybe labor? who knows..
4. If you have already had #1 or are already thinking about it, how many people had their mom's in the delivery room? Only the people there at conception will be in the delivery room. My teenagers will be in the waiting room (if they wanted to be in the delivery room, I would allow it, but they don't so that's easy...)
5. Moms with #2 on the way, if LO is going to be 24-30 months when #2 is born...how do you plan on prepping #1 for it...
6. At what week did you tell your friends/family/coworkers/boss? We told the kids first - after our NT scan showed healthy baby. That was 12 weeks. We told closest friends and family at 13 weeks (we hosted a dinner so that we could tell everyone at once - our families are prone to drama, this seemed the best way to avoid "you told THEM first...." There was STILL drama. sigh)

tomorrow. it will be a dating u/s, so i'll know for sure how far along i am and my official due date! (curse irregular periods).

the sunshine today and tomorrow, my appt tomorrow, and dinner with a few former coworkers on thurs. they are "mom" aged, and actually a little bit older than my own mom...i've already told them via email, but i'm excited to see them, since it's been a few months.

i'm undecided. i'm very close with my mom, so naturally, i'd want her there. MIL and i are not close. at all. when i told h i wanted my mom there, but not MIL, he said it wasn't "fair", so i might just have neither mom in there.

we told our first friend this wknd at 6.5 wks. immediate family told them almost right away. extended family/coworkers/boss i plan on telling them at 13 weeks.

I had to have a c-section for my first, but if I hadn't, I definitely would have wanted my mom there. She was there for every second she could be and really helped take care of me so my DH could focus on baby. I plan on having her in the6. At what week did you tell your friends/family/coworkers/boss? With #1, I told my immediate family at 5-6 weeks, I was SO excited. Work/ext. family/friends, I waited until 11 wks.

1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? -Week 34, and things seem to be dragging. Had a PTL scare on Friday, and will be following up this Friday.
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment?- The 8th at 2. Although it's feeling like forever. We will be finding out if we might be having a July baby instead. Thankfully the pregnancy has been going great otherwise.
3. What are you looking forward to this week?- That we finally have some sunshine. 4. If you have already had #1 or are already thinking about it, how many people had their mom's in the delivery room? - With DS I had H and MIL in the delivery room. I was skeptical at first, but was really happy to have the extra help when the time came. This time around, it'll be just me and DH. 5. 3. What are you looking forward to this week? Dinner out with a girlfriend tonight, date with Mas and D tomorrow afternoon.

With M I had a c/s she was right outside the OR doors, #2 she was at our house with M. I am really hoping to have her with us this time, we need to figure out childcare for M & W though for that to work.
5. Moms with #2 on the way, if LO is going to be 24-30 months when #2 is born...how do you plan on prepping #1 for it? M was 3 1/2 when we had W, we talked about baby in tummy, listened on the doppler regularly to all our hearts and babys, he helped get the room ready and picked out a special animal to give him.
6. At what week did you tell your friends/family/coworkers/boss? Pretty quickly, I have never kept it a secret longer then a couple weeks. I figured if something happined I would need their support and understanding.

2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? Next Wednesday. It'll be my first internal, along with the Group B Strep test.
3. What are you looking forward to this week? The short work week. I'm already dying for the weekend to get here!

I love my mom, know she'd be supportive but I don't know how many people I want in there.....I don't know if it will be a let's wait and see how I feel thing but feel like I should let her know ahead of time.... ?Aimeejo When I'm in labor I'll let my fiance tag my mom in when/if he needs a break, but during delivery I just want him there with me.

23. Allergies are my worst complaint right now! LOL. Every now and then my side stomach muscles and/or back hurt. My bump is getting bigger!
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment?
7/20 Midwife Appt. I'm getting the diabetes test done... I think it will come out normal.
3. What are you looking forward to this week?
A 4-day work week. I'm so tired today. Did anyone else foolishly stay out later then expected and have to go in to work today!? What was I thinking?
4. If you have already had #1 or are already thinking about it, how many people had their mom's in the delivery room? This is my first, but I will have my mom, sister and sister-in-law there. I feel like I'll just warn them I might need them to give me space sometimes, but they can definitely be there for the pushing, etc.

I told my family week 5. Work week 7 because I felt like I was suffering from 24/7 morning sickness and didn't want them to think i was slacking just for fun. Most friends I told between week 6-8 as I saw them in person. We did a general facebook post at week 12 with our ultrasound video.

1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? 24 weeks and no new aches and pains, just the same old stuff :-)
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? Tomorrow and I think they give me my glucose drink and schedule the test for my glucose screening
3. What are you looking forward to this week? My dr appt tomorrow
4. If you have already had #1 or are already thinking about it, how many people had their mom's in the delivery room? I would have had my mom in the room. I probably would have wound up with MIL in the room too. If I could have had my mom in my c/s, I would have. My MIL asked my dr to and I vetoed that right away. I am super close to my mom and still wish she could have been there with me in the OR.
5. Moms with #2 on the way, if LO is going to be 24-30 months when #2 is born...how do you plan on prepping #1 for it? Em is a little older than that, but I'd wait to really talk to them about it until I was further along. Our hospital here in Oregon does an "Older Siblings Class", but I think you have to be three. I'd try to involve them in things like helping pick out a special toy or outfit for the new baby.
6. At what week did you tell your friends/family/coworkers/boss? We told our parents at 5 weeks. We were going to wait until we saw our OB, but my freaking MIL told people ten minutes after we said, "We'd really like to keep this a secret for another week or two." So we told everyone after that because we wanted people to hear it from us. (which is one of the reasons MIL did not find out I was pregnant until I said she could, which wound up being through fb because DH didn't call her in time) I was about 10 weeks when I told my boss, but I worked at a high school where most of my students from youth group went and I wanted him to hear it from me.

I don't answer these a lot, but thought I should check-in every once in awhile to let people know I'm still here.
1. What cycle are you on? Waiting to O or 2WW? I'm probably on Cycle 31 or so and waiting to O (although I don't officially track it anymore.)
