This anxiety can be overwhelming at times so I'm thinking about getting a home doppler. However, I'm worried that it will do more harm than good in the sense that if it is frequently difficult to find the heartbeat my anxiety will ramp up. Does anyone want to weigh in with their experience?
Also, did you rent or buy and from which company? Are you happy w/ the service? Did you ask you doctor's opinion before you started using a doppler?
TIA
Re: Home doppler questions...
I love my doppler. Only on a few occasions around 11w did i have any trouble finding it, and usually I would come back to it a few hours later and find it. It has brought me so much peace of mind as we are in the middle of the "no 1st tri symptoms no movement yet, am I really pregnant" conondrum. I bought mine from East Shore Medical from ebay, everything went very quickly and I received it in no time.
I had a bad experience with pulseoximiteronline.com; there was a glitch in shipping and they had horrible customer service. (Called me stupid for not checking my junkmail... any legit company that operates solely on email when they have your phone number on file is not ok in my book).
