At the farmer's market

one of the workers at the stand asked me when I was due.

I said November.

On the plus side, dd ate about half a pint of sugar snap peas while we shopped so I went back and bought 2 more.  She loves them.  And I got a cherry pitter, so I no longer have to feed cherries to her baby-bird style.

    LMAO!!

On a side note, do you bring her stroller? It's always so crowded when I go (without DD) that I don't know how I would bring her.

  • I used to lie the other way for dd to strangers....saying I was due in Oct/Nov for my Aug date bc I got so many small comments, so I figured why not.

I did bring the stroller, but didn't end up using it.  I go to the one out in North Chili (westside and buffalo intersection) and they had shopping carts, so I used that instead.  It's held outside at a church, so a big parking lot and easy to get in and out.  Plus, they leave the church open for bathroom use too which is awesome.  I saw a couple people with wagons too.  I don't go to the one downtown anymore.  The parking is always stressful to me.  I figure the deals in the suburb farmer's markets aren't quite as good, but it saves me a bunch of time and stress.  If I was going downtown, I think I would have to just use the ergo.

  • That's so true about parking downtown. I only go a few times a year and I make my mom drive because I get too stressed out!
  • We need a picture now. I'm actually surprised you are getting comments already since you have such a perfectly flat tummy after Ellie.. But those 2nd babies really do pop earlier (and I was just generally MUCH bigger all along)

  • I just finished mowing.  I swear I look a good 2 months ahead of where I was last pregnancy.  And yet I still weigh less than when I got pg with dd.

  • You look fantastic!  Look at that cute bump!  (And I love your bathroom tile too!)

If anyone is looking for a good farmer's market- the Brighton one is nice.  It's no where near as big as the Public Market but it's in the high school parking lot and easy to maneuver- you could definitely bring a stroller or wagon.  The South Wedge market is fantastic (all organic or pesticide free) but parking is much more limited.  We go every week (it's where our CSA pick up is) and Eva loves it!

Glad to hear the Brighton one is nice-I drove by it today (its right down the street from us) and I always forget about it. How are the prices? I'll have to go check it out!
