one of my best friends has this cousin who has been on drugs for years now.. she has one daughter who fortunatly came out fine with now problems.. she then got pregnant again and we found out yesterday that the doctors wanted to induce her 2 weeks early due to seeing problems and wanting to just get the baby out ...well..sadly...the baby didnt make it.. such selfishness on the moms part.. just wanted to share.. i feel so bad for this baby ...its like she never had a chance.. makes you appreciate all the hard work we moms do to stay healthy for our LO's
Re: sad story.
Was she using during this pregnancy? Your post makes it seem like that is the case. However, are we sure that she had a miscarriage because she was using drugs or some other complication? Either way, I think it is so sad that she lost her baby at all. Very tragic.
If she abuses drugs then she needs some rehab and a safe place for her other child to reside. Very unfortunate.
My SIL was addicted to crack, and found out she was pregnant a month or two into the pregnancy. Luckily she quit, and luckily my niece is a bright young girl with an amazing personality.
What drugs was she using? I feel bad for her baby, who did not have a chance at life with a mother like that.
I know it sounds harsh, but pray that this baby's mission in life was to snap her back to reality and what she's doing to herself...
Not necessarily true! My parents have full custody of my niece, and my sister had not been convicted of anything. My parents got proof of her unstable mental illness and drug addiction, then were granted custody. She has been in rehab so many times and is only worse now than ever. It is sad, but it is more sad for the children that they bring in to this world.
I agree. I license for breeding. My DH has said this for years. I also have a sister on drugs. Thankfully she has had the sense not to get pregnant. The state will pay for birth control and you can get condoms for free plus the morning after pill... no excuse. And I'm sorry for the LO's that didn't make it. There are plenty of good homes that would take them in if their mom can't get it together.
