How did you meet your DH/SO??

I had just moved into my first apartment, and invited a guy "friend" over who I had dated off and on for several years very casually. He knew I had a roommate and asked if it was okay to bring his buddy. I said yes and they came over, well in the mean time my roommate's guy friend refused to leave so when my date showed up with his friend it was really awkward so they left. My roommate was annoyed because 5 minutes after my date and his friend left so did her guy friend. So we got in our Pj's and were going to head to bed when my date sent me at text and asked if her friend had left because they were thinking of coming back over. So we invited the guys back over and when they got back, I noticed my date's friend was driving a sweet old car (1936) and asked about it, he put his hand on my arm and asked if I wanted to see it. The moment he touched me I knew we had a connection. My poor date didn't stand a chance. We have been together ever since that night. (June 2006) and got married March 2007.

Later DH told me that when his buddy wanted to come back over he said "only if I can talk to Pearl, she is really pretty and funny" and my original date said "okay" because he assumed I wouldn't be into his friend... Obviously not the case lol.
