My 4 yo uses herbal essences totally twisted. I don't know if it's bad for it but it doesn't seem to be. She has beautiful soft curly hair that never tangles. I wash her hair daily and she has been using this for at leas 1.5 years.
I'm curious about this as well. We still use the Mustela newborn foaming shampoo for my little one. I bought some when she had cradle cap when she was a newborn and loved it so much I just kept buying it. I use my Dove conditioner on her hair to help with tangles, and it seems to be fine.
I thought about switching to a 2-in-1 kind of thing, but don't know if it will condition enough because her hair is really long and I do *not* want to deal with tangles!
We actually use adult shampoo. He has horrible dandruff, so we use Head and Shoulders. He knows to close his eyes, so I'm not really concerned about it.

Another vote for Suave 2-in-1 for kids DD has curly hair so I need something w/ conditioner in it...but she HATES having her hair washed and thrashes around and gets stuff in her face, so it has to be kid-stuff, sting-free for her eyes!
I do sometimes add my deep conditioner to her hair and then don't rinse it out all the way..

Whatever is on sale OR my shampoo & conditioner (if I need to go shopping). Right now she has L'Oreal Kids shampoo that smells like watermelon or strawberries and another that smells like melon.
My 3 year old uses a Suave kids 2-1 and my 5 year old uses adult shampoo and conditioner - she has curls and needs the extra conditioner. I typically get Suave for her as well.
We also use Suave 2 in 1 for kids. I needed something tear free for her because the adult shampoo stings her eyes. I almost never need a detangler after.
We still use the baby shampoo. Honestly, I never really thought about switching to a kids or even adults one. I have a 4yo and a 16mo, and they usually bathe together. They don't cooperate very well with lifting their heads, so it would at least need to be tear free.
I still use baby shampoo on my 6 year old boy and 18 month old girl. I usually use the conditioning Johnsons & Johnsons on my 4 year old since she has long hair that tangles easily. they still need the tear free stuff which is why we still use the j&j baby shampoos.

I meant to say they make 2 in 1's for kiddos.
We use Suave 2 in 1 shampoo. Love the smell of her hair when it's washed.
