I know there are a lot of you who are also craving sushi. I have been in the mood for it all week so I finally went and bought a california roll and a boston roll with miso soup for lunch. I'm hoping to help all of you who want it so bad, but it was just not that good. I was very disappointed

I had sushi twice last week and it totally hit the spot!
First time I had shrimp tempura with cream cheese and eel sauce roll.
Second time I had shrimp tempura with asparagus and cream cheese roll.
YUM! Now I want more!
I broiled fish last night with a soy/ginger/garlic marinade and it reminded me of sushi with the ginger and soy flavors. It was great!
Try a shrimp tempura roll or a Vegas Roll (also sometimes called the Las Vegas Roll). It is salmon and cream cheese in the center, but then it's dipped in tempura batter and deep fried so it all ends up cooked. It's one of my favorite rolls anytime - not just when I'm limited while pregnant.
Another one of my cooked favorites is a Crunchy Roll. It has shrimp tempura (sometimes cooked crab too), avocado and cucumber in the center, and then tye typical rice on the outside. Then, it's topped with little crunchy brown noodles (the actual name is escaping me - it's the type of 'noodle' that would be on an asian chicken salad).
I'm trying to convince DH to go for sushi tonight. I've been craving it for months. We used to get sushi every 2-3 weeks, and we haven't gone in a long time. I NEED it! lol
