Flying...alone

I am SO nervous! I am flying again with C for the first time since the horrible incident coming home from NY at Christmas. I have my gogo babyz travelmate and car seat this time. I hope it makes a HUGE difference. I hope 12:30 comes quickly so that we can be on the ground again. I was never nervous about flying until I had a toddler that hates being buckled into anything.

Yeah, the last few flights have been a breeze with Gavin now that he can work my iphone or play his gameboy.  And yes, the carseat is a must with him.  We've had our share of bad flights but he usually redeems himself on the next go round.  Good luck.

I just did this for the first time a few weeks ago, and i was sooo nervous.  I was just hopeful that the other passengers would take pity on the poor pregnant woman with the screaming child - ha! But she was really good and I was stressed out for nothing.

We just waited as long as possible to board the plane, and then I gave her a snack as soon as we got settled in our seats.  I read stories while we taxied and took off, then as soon as we had the okay, I put on a movie on the DVD player.  When we had to turn it off again for landing, I broke out a new coloring book and crayons for her.  

As for being buckled in... well we've never had issues with that, but hopefully the carseat will help.  Good luck!!
