I drink Lactaid milk. DH is lactose intolerant and they allow him to eat his favorite cereals so we love it! To be honest I am not a huge milk drinker but I think Lactaid Milk (skim for us) tastes great! I actually wanted a glass of milk (odd for me). He has tried the Lactaid pills in the past with varied success. I would say if they are for lactose intolerance it is easier to avoid the foods in question. there are so many great non dairy options out there. My lil cousin drinks rice milk and LOVVVVES it. My mom does only Soy (my least fav for day to day eating, good if vanilla and in coffee)
Sorry I cant be more helpful. Good luck!

Thanks! LO has been on antibiotics lately for the ears and has had very watery diapers...Dr. suggested switching from Vitamin D to Lactaid to see if that helps - just until the antibiotics are done being taken.
