Anyone else have a bruised bladder?

So since 20+ weeks my urine tests have come back positive for some bacteria that's indicitave of a bladder infection. However, when the dr. runs the second test it's always been negative.

Dr. said it's because baby rests/kicks on my bladder so much it's bruised which can lead to a "false" infection.

 However, dr. tells me today, he's pretty sure I have a full blown infection now. They did a retest today and if it's positive I need drugs tommorow.

Dr. keeps asking me if I have any of the typical UTI signs because he thinks it should be obvious and I should be in pain.  I have none. The only one I can think of is I pee a lot, but not anymore than the avg. pregnant woman.  I've never had a UTI in my life either.

No big deal, we'll all be fine in the end, but man I was doing so good in this pregnancy.

I don't know about bruised but they did tell me at one point that I had what was the beginning of a UTI and just put me on meds. I didn't have symptoms either and have never had one. They also just said it looked like I was getting one...really strange. But I know a UTI can bring on (at the time) pre-term labor so they treated it right away.

Obviously, I'm not pregnant. But, I too have never had a UTI and have had 2 since my delivery.  One that progressed into my kidneys.  It's weird!

It is the weirdest thing!

Dr. told me it just might be the beginning because I'd be screaming in pain otherwise and he wants it treated before I go into labor for my own comfort after the fact, otherwise he'd skip the drugs as at this point obviously, preterm labor is no longer a concern.

I don't have a bruised bladder ( I don't think) but it feels like it! Everytime I pee, after I'm done it still feels like I have to pee and I still have crazy pressure. And baby is always kicking it!
