Painful twinge in ovary

I have had cramping in my ovaries for a couple of days and along with that, from time to time when I bend over I have a painful twinge in my ovaries.  Could this mean ovulation is near or could it mean a cyst?

Re: Painful twinge in ovary

  • Some women do not experience ovulation pain and some do (and to different extents). If the pain is something new for you (which I kind of gather it is based on your post) and does not improve soon then I would suggest calling your doctor. Good luck :)

  • Just know that, if it is a cyst, it will most likely dissolve on its own.  It will hurt for a few days and then just stop all-of-a-sudden.  Cysts happen a lot more than most women realize.
