Not GHM, but I felt the need to answer anyway. Both chest clips are way too low. They should be all the way up at armpit level. It's also hard to tell with them asleep and slumped down if the harness height is okay. It looks like their shoulders are both close to being above the harness slot. I'd have them each sit up straight in the seat so you can check.

Ditto Angela. The chest clips are too low. Unfortunately, the regent's crotch strap makes kids slump! They might be in there correctly when you put them in, but as they fall asleep they fall forward into the crotch strap. I loved it when E was in diapers, but as he got older and thinner, it didn't work as well for him.
I noticed it too in another of your posts. I'm a freak about chest clip being up though. Would have been nice if your friend came out and said what they were thinking though. I kinda want GHM et al to critique a pic of my kids in their seats. I *think* I'm doing it right.
I'll chime in : ) As others have said, the chest clips need to be at armpit level against the hard sternum. Having them lower can cause injuries to the soft abdomen if you were in a crash.
The other issue I see is that it looks like the harness straps are below their shoulders. When kids are forward facing, the harness needs to be at or above the shoulders. That can actually cause slumping, so moving them up to the next level above the shoulders might help!
I can't tell from these pictures, but are you using the top tethers? Thats a super common thing that people forget. If you're not (and you may be, I just can't see from the pic!) then read the manual in your car to see where the anchors are.
Re: GHM, I am in need of your expertise, please.

I HAVE to know what prompted you to ask her this question!? Did someone comment on the pic but didn't tell you what was wrong!?
They are both getting so big!! ADORABLE!
Of course. Bah.
Me with my littlest.
On FB?! And did they say "There is something wrong with your pic!" And leave it at that?! OMG - people are insane!
