Anyone have trouble conceiving after C-Section?

I got pregnant with DD the first month we tried.  I had a c-section because she wouldn't descend.  We've been working on #2 for close to a year now, and I've been worrying if I'll be able to conceive again.  I googled and found a number of sites that said you can have difficulty conceiving after a c-section.  Has anyone had more trouble getting pregnant again than before their c-section?

I have heard that the more c-sections you have the harder it is to conceive. However with just one it should not affect your chances too much, maybe a little but I think it's pretty low. Complications during pregnancy like placenta previa are more likely also. I thought it might take us a couple months but we ended up getting pregnant the first month we tired. However most Dr's will tell you that after a year of trying (c-section or not) without conceiving, it's time to go in and talk to them....just a thought if you haven't made an appt with your Dr!

Thanks!  Yeah, this is my last cycle before I call the Dr.  AF is due in about a week, so if she makes her appearance I plan on going in.

I agree... I've heard this happens a lot TTC #2 just in general..We were extremely fortunate (and the luckiest ever!) that both our babies were the results of literally one time without a condom.. I am still in shock we struck it twice.
