Hello ladies!
After yesterday's QOTD, I officially have new ideas for new drinks! Hooray! But seriously, all those drinks looked delish and refreshing! ![]()
Also today is my CD1 so I will indulge in those drinks ![]()
Well, today will just be a simple question, to the near point of getting to know y'all better!
Do you have any pets? If so, tell me about them! If not, do you plan on getting pets someday or no plans for that in the future?
I have 3 cats right now and an aquarium. At my mothers place, she still has the family dog who is getting quite old (13 1/2 years old). My cats are Tigrou (Tigger) and abysinian, Etoile a black Norwegian forest cat and Noodle a cute farm calico! We have some angel fish and tetras, a couple of bottom feeders. And a snail. All the fish have names... but it would be a bit much to list them all lol.
I want a dog... lol
Re: ~ Question of the Day! ~
We have a 20 month old boxer named Barney
We also have 2 cats that I hate named Coco and Oliver. I love cats, just not these 2.
4th BFP-August 2014- Due May 12, 2015
Oscar (baby Oscar) is a 2 year old fluffy orange tabby. He plays fetch and "barks" at squrriels. He is so cute!
Maggie (Smaggie) is a 6 year old schnauzer. She plays with string like a cat.
As you can read we have really mixed up animals. You would think the cat would act like a cat, and the dog would act like a dog.
We have an orange cat named Spazz. I found him at the place I take my time sheets to, he was only about 6 months old, already fixed, we've had him almost 2 years now, he's so much fun!
When DH gets back to work, we plan to get a puppy, either a weiner dog, jack russell terrior, or a beagle, we want a small/med size family dog.
3 fur babies, all rescues.
1 is a feline named Elfie (after the movie Elf). Found her in my front yard when she was just 10 weeks old!
The other 2 are canine named Zoey and Heidi. One is an Anatolian Shep mix (think German Shep, but Turkish) and the other is a Boxer mix
Sorry about CD 1
We have two cats, they are almost 4 years old.

Lily Potter is my 4 year old English Bulldog. She is my child. She is not the best behaved dog, but I would not change one thing about her.
We also have an orange tabby cat named Obie. We think he is about 2, we rescued him from death row last summer 36 hours before he was supposed to be put down. He is obsessed with MH. He cries if he is not in contact with a human (preferably MH), or Lily.
We had outdoor fish, but our newest "pets", about 25 snakes have put an end to that. Our backyard is tiny, in the middle of a city, and I have never seen that many snakes before. Took a while, but now I am used to them.
No more for now, our 3br house could not handle it. Someday we hope to have a small farm, and I hope to have a horse, and some other farm animals.
We have a 60 lb mutt named Dixie. She is 3 years old and COMPLETELY spoiled! She has her "daddy" wrapped around her finger!
One of the reasons we got a boxer is because they are known as one of the best breeds of dogs with children. I researched like crazy because I knew we were getting a dog right around when we would start TTC and I wanted to make sure we had a breed that would be able to adapt well.
Our boxer is also great with my 84 year old grandma. We leave him with her for a few hours at a time and he just lays at her feet very calmly!

We have 2 dogs. Sky is a 5 year old black lab & she is the most well behaved dog! My hubby did a great job training her. She was supposed to be a hunting dog, but she doesn't like the feel of the feathers in her mouth-it's really funny!
Dodge is our 2 year old mutt. We rescued him from the pound. He is part lab & part collie (we think) He was a little tougher to train since he was already 8 months old when we got him, but I think Sky is a good influence on him
He has turned out to be an awesome dog, & he IS a hunter!
I love my dogs, I just wish we had gotten our furniture AFTER we got our dogs, because we have two black dogs (who shed a lot!) and cream furniture!
We have two puggles. Paisley is 3 and 1/2, Clover will be 2 in August. I got Paisley before I met DH and we both fell in love with him. Paisley is our stage 5 clinger. She's cuddly and not at all keen on strangers. She's the one I can guarantee will be within arm's reach if I'm sitting on the couch. Clover was our wedding gift to each other, and she's our little firecracker. She's super independent, and is only cuddly when tired. She's an aspiring fashion designer and likes to give clothes a distressed look.
We also have two red-eared sliders, Carlos and Henry. Henry is my nickname among DH's coworkers, and Carlos is named after the baby in the Hangover. They don't do much, but one of them bites really hard.

My mother in law was totally against us getting a dog because she claimed she hated them, but she is so in love with the dog. She won't allow us to visit without him. I love seeing all the dog pics. Love em!

IT'S A GIRL
I have three cats- Brigid, Jenny and Foyer. Foyer came to us through chance. We think the previous owners of our house had him and just kind of set him free when they moved, because there were kitty doors in the hall closets and a bag of cat food left over...
When the weather started to get cold that first year, we heard a tapping on the sliding glass door, opened it, and in walked this adorable tom cat. He proceeded to plop down in the foyer (hence his name) and groom himself before looking at us like, "Where is my food bowl?" Took him to the vet the next day and gave him a fancy pet bed with the others soon after

We adopted 2 strays from my moms barn cats who had kittens. One is orange and white (my daughter named him gumball) and the other is gray, black and white and named pebbles. We were SO fortunate with these two. We thought litter box training would be H*LL but we've had them 3 weeks now and we have not had a single accident in the house... We showed them the box once and ever since that's where they go.
My husband would love to have a great dane one day (so would I) but I have to do lots of research first to see how they are with little humans before I will get one.
I do not have any pets right now. I think we might be getting a Boston Terrier pup that was born a few weeks ago when they get to be about 8 weeks. SD wants a pup so bad and we told her we would get one within a year and our neighbors down the street just so happen to have Boston Terriers.
Does anyone have a Boston Terrier? Good dogs? Advice about them?
I have always had pets growing up.. cats, dogs, birds, horses.
