Vacuuming Stairs

If you have carpeted stairs how much do you vacuum them? I feel like our stairs are always dingy looking and a need of a vacuum, but I HATE vacuuming the stairs.

I have to take apart the vacuum, plug it in and vacuum the first part while dragging the portable part behind me and us the hose. Then climb back down the stairs to get the cord and plug it in at the top, repeat. All while DS wants to follow...

I think I should do it weekly.  But monthly is prob more realistic.

Not as much as I should.  But, you should get a Dyson!  No taking apart the vacuum and the hose and cord are both really long.  Makes things much easier.

Don't feel bad.  I am a slacker too when it comes to the stairs.  Maybe 2x a month?  And one of those is our cleaning lady.  LOL.

I vacuum them twice a month, or as needed.

I do it once a week. Between the kids and dogs I can't not do it weekly. These last few weeks of pregnancy I've had DH do it for me though. I can't cary the vac up. :-(
