I'm sure this gets posted a lot... but just wondering what names people have picked out (if you have picked any).

We have no boy names.  DS1 got named two days after he was born and it's the only name DH and I even sort of agreed on.

If it's a girl her name will be Abigail Rose.

Believe it or not, DH and I chose baby names 3 mths after we were together, before being engaged ... we just knew.

Boy: Elijah Benjamin

Girl: Abigail Katrina

DH and I both chose one name per name (yes, that made sense lol) DH chose Elijah - i think he just liked the name. It was originally going to be Gabriel, but DH was terrified someone would call him "gay" (.....) So it was changed to Elijah. I've loved Benjamin for forever. (I wanted a Benjamin Davis.) DH chose Katrina because his best friend/cousins name was Katrina, but she passed away when he was in college (1998 ... I think?) from a brain tumor. And my mom has loved Abigail and I was going to be an Abigail, and I just love the name. I think Abigail is a great grown up professional name, but Abby is such a cute little girl name.

Our boy's name is definite: Timothy Carl (Timothy is after my DH's father who passed away when DH was 13 and Carl is my dad's name)

 The only girl name we can agree on is Lily.

Other girl names I like are Adeline, Adelaide, Greta, and Johannah

Boy: Declan Brendan

Girl: Keira Belle (Belle is for his Grandmother who was Maybelle but I would not go for that)

 Also, since we live in the South all of our friends are getting a kick out of saying Keira Belle.

 Originally for the boy it was Liam Thomas (Thomas for my Dad) but then realized Liam is a form of William which my Brother named his son (even though my nephew goes by Grant).

Boy is definite: Chase or Chace David (we are debating the spelling only, not the name).

Girl: This changes.  It was Katie, now it's Emily.  I keep looking for ideas.

 

Funny story: My niece just graduated H.S. and we spent the whole time looking at names trying to see if any "looked good", LOL!

My DH and I have talked about names for a very long time...nothing is definite yet, but now that we are officially expecting, we will start narrowing things down.

Girl Names: Kierstin Grace or Kay (both of our mom's middle names are Kay), Khloe Grace/Kay, or Sophia Grace/Kay

Boys: Julian Jeffery (my dad's name).  DH really loves this name!  We haven't discussed any other boy names, but others that I like are....Collin, Aidan, and Gavin

On a side note DH wants to have a Jr. if we have a boy and I am totally against it. I want the baby to have his own name.

Definite boy name is Jason, with possible middles names Robert and or Phillip.  1st choice for girl is Phoebe Joy, and I recently like Audrey.

We've had names picked out for a long time.  They just kind of evolved over random conversations throughout the years...

First boy will be Dominick John (nicknamed Nicky) after DH (Dominick/Nick) and my dad (John).

First girl will be Sienna Susan (Susan is my mom) or Gemma Donna (Donna is DH's mom).

 We have no girls name we agree on but I LOVE --- Elle.

DS is Logan Lawrence, we had that name picked out for a long time, if he had been a girl he would have been Alexia Carol Anne, "Lexi". However we aren't sure of that girl name now, for a bit we like Grayson or Nolan and girl I love Ellie DH doesn't really have any he really loves

It's so funny to see how many people pick names and then change them later - we've done that so many times... for us it's hard to pick the girls name... and after awhile I decide I don't like the one we were thinking of so we end up looking up names again and changing it.  Good thing we have lots of time haha.

My husband and I came up with a list of names we really liked when we were dating (6 1/2) years ago. Since then, all of the names have been taken by friends. We either have to get new names or new friends!

Boys: Noah, Luke, Ezekiel

Girls: Faith, Grace, Hailey

My boy name is Coen Lewis (Normally spelled Cohen) - Lewis is after my would have been step-father (he passed away right before my mother and him were married and he was such a loving person and so I wanted to name my son after him), and Adilynn Kemi (Kemi is after MIL). I'm not sure yet how I would spell Adilynn.

I swear I did not see your post before I posted mine! I love the name Adelynn. I saw it recently and asked DH about it and he seemed to like it. It's unique.

DH has already told me that he will be picking the name of our first born... as that was how he was named (after his grandfather - Loran). I just don't know how much I would like Robert (his father's name) for a boy though. and I do really like his girl name choice though (Emmaline, after his grandmother)

Boy: George Edgar after both of our (paternal) grandfathers. I also like Cash but DH hates it.

Girl: My sister and I both came up with Margaret (Maggie), she is due in December, so if it's a girl I may lose that one. My MIL, her mother, and my grandmother are all Margaret, and her middle name would be Ann, my sisters middle name. Second girl name is Isabelle Marie.
