Lawd help me!!! She's very nice, but she's very 'small town' and high maintenance. And dh is an only child, so she's always up in our business. I'm always stressed and cranky when she's here. And I'm already cranky because I'm weaning off my zoloft! Maybe I'll replace it with wine , lots of wine, this week! Lol!!!

My MIL brings her own wine when she comes, lol. At least she shares! Hope it's only a short visit.

One reason I am glad my inlaws and I don't speak the same language. WHile they are great I KNOW my MIL and I would have some serious issues if we could speak to each other!

I don't envy you! I could not imagine having my MIL stay with us for a week. There would be a battle to the death! Good luck.

My MIL lives less than a kilometer from us (DH's family owns a dairy farm on which we live, his parents live and his brother lives... all seperate houses... just close together.) I love her, but she's crazy intense and even more intense now that I had her first grandchild. When we first came home from the hospital, she was dropping by *all*the*time -- even when I was in the hospital, she'd drop by twice a day (I was there a week). And she never called... just showed up. I had to nip that in the bud...I *hate* people just showing up.

But I still love her. But a week non-stop with anyone would drive me crazy. I like my space.

Eek. DH told his boss if I have a c-section that he'll call his step-mom to stay and help me. I told him I wouldn't come home if he did that.

Keep her busy with lots of projects. Ask her to watch the babies while you go get your nails done or something nice for yourself. :-)

And yes, drink a ton lol.
