Ok, so mostly I lurk and respond to questions on rare occasion.

I went to the TTC board and a newbie said she thinks she might be prego. Then all these girls made mention that prego is spagetti sauce not a word to be used on TB.

DH used to call me that because Prego's motto is "It's in there" and so is a baby. I thought it was cute and will continue to use it!

started WAYYY back when I was pregnant with my DD...and she is 20 months now!

Girls get seriously upset about it.....

also, Preggers is not a good word to use here either!

Makes me laugh IRL when people use it because I automatically think..."oh the bump ladies would not approve!"

I recall that being an "offensive" word to some Bumpies when I was on the tri boards. Just another one of those things people like to jump all over for no good reason.

I don't particularly care for the term either but I'm not going to tell others they can't use it.

I never understood why people get so bent out of shape over it and it's only on TB that I see people upset about it.

THIS! What's the big deal! I used to say I was prego all the time! I think it's cute! It's fine if you don't like it for yourself, but don't give a girl a hardtime over something so stupid! Thank you!

Exactly! My husband and a few other people used to call me preggo all the time. I didn't like it in the beginning, but it grew on me. I certainly never corrected anyone about it though.

Oh Jesus. It's just a slang term. I mean I wouldn't go up to some stranger in public and say "Hey Prego" but there is absolutely nothing offensive about it. Some people take things way to seriously.

I remember that being a huge deal when I was pregnant and I never understood why. But like PP said every time I hear someone say it, I think of the bump and how pissed people get about it.
