Skip Hop Backpack

Anyone have it?  Would you recommend it?  We don't really use a diaper bag anymore with our 3 year old, but I'm going to need something for the new baby and we really want a backpack.

I have it and like it.  I wanted a backpack and I really like that it has a separate compartment for diapers and changing pad.  However, I will say that I need to replace mine (I think a squirrel chewed one of the straps off the bag) and I decided to just get a regular Lands End backpack that was about 1/3 of the price that had the features I wanted--at least two compartments, two outside water bottle/sippy cup pockets, and that's pretty much it.  I'm going to just put the changing pad in it and I'm good to go.

  • We have the puppy one and love it! I have received a ton of compliments on it and it's held up very well. DS loves to carry it!

  • Do you mean the kid's backpack or a diaper change backpack? DD loves her mouse-shaped Skip Hop backpack, but I would never use it for myself. I *think* you mean an adult-sized backpack, though. FWIW, consider investing in the kids's one to lighten your own load. Your DD can then carry her own water bottle, snacks and change of clothing for a day-long outing.

Sorry, yes I mean the adult backpack diaper bag, I forgot they have all those adorable children's ones.  The diaper bag is for us and I will just use the free one from the OB's office and hospital for daycare.  That is what we did the first time around.

  • I got the lime one on Zulily awhile back for about $30, and I LOVE it. I feel like it has plenty of storage, and I like having the stroller clips too. I also find it much more comfortable to wear than a shoulder bag as the weight is distributed more evenly.
