My husband and I want to cloth diaper and we saw an idea of screenprinting the invitations to our baby shower on cloth diapers. I really want to do this but want to make sure I buy diapers that i can put to good use. we're going to start out with flats and prefolds. but i am wondering what sizes i should buy. I've read that there are one-size diapers but do they really work as well as having different sizes?
also does anyone know the dimensions of a newborn or small flat diaper so i can make the graphics dimensions correct for screenprinting?
Re: diaper sizes?
check out greenmountaindiapers.com
They sell newborn and preemie sized pre-folds. The newborn are 12x13 new, 11x11.5 shrunk.
You could also get the preemie to use as burp cloths or doublers. They are 10.5x13.5 new 9x11 shrunk.
But if you think you might just use them as burp cloths I'd go with ones that are cheaper like the Gerber Birdseye, they're about $1.00 a piece
Cute idea!
If dipes don't pan out, try bibs or onsesies.
yes i forgot to mention that
there's a psrt on the invitation that mentions bringing them back to the shower
thanks! that's a good idea about the bibs and onesies
