I want to make a chocolate cake for my daughter so she can enjoy dessert with everyone for 4th of July. I have only used 100% whole wheat flour when baking things for her. I know white flour will taste better in a cake and want to use that, but I wasn't sure if you could be allergic to one and not the other, or are they made up of the same thing? She has never had white flour, and I don't want to introduce anything "new" over the weekend.
Thanks!
