Looking a furlough I seriously have no skills besides my ability to teach to use! I can't sew, cook, design things, etc. I see several of you mentioned businesses you start, I am curious what you all do? Computer related?
The only thing I think I coudl do is babysit in my home.

Teaching is a great skill. I took my skill of software/systems and my passion for training/teaching, so one of my consulting gigs is training employees on software. If you learn a computer software package - even if it's Excel or Photoshop, you can set out to teach others on that software.
If you excel at teaching a specific subject, put an ad out in the local paper for tutoring or maybe try an adult learning center. Not sure what your subject focus is, but maybe it is something the elderly community would pay for in-house learning. My dad had someone come to his house to teach my mom how to use Microsoft Word because he was frustrated with teacher her.
I can sew really well, so when people need me I fix their "broken" clothes for a small fee. I make and sell clothes, blankets, and accessories for kids and baby, I can make dog collars, I usually sell what I make at Moms2Moms sales (which I do 2X a year) or on Etsy, I don't have anything on Etsy currently but I have a few things for sale on my blog. I make things to order too from the patterns I have for a "small fee" too.
I don't make enough to make me rich but if I can get some extra money here or there I'll take it.
