I have long, unpredictable cycles. My cycles have ranged from 33 to 67 days and my O dates range from CD 19 - CD 53. I also don't have very fertile CM, so it can be hard to predict when O is coming (I do use OPKs too). This month I'm going to try the green tea and drink lots of water to see if it helps with the CM, but is there anything that can help regulate ovulation? I was reading about FertilAid this morning, but its expensive so I wanted to see if anyone had any experience with it first. I know I took cinnamon pills the cycle I got pg with DD, but honestly I can't remember why (I know I heard about it on here though). We just finished our first cycle TTC #2, so I'm definitely not ready to see my doc or anything, but am hoping there might be a way I can help my O along! Thanks ladies.

Re: Are there any natural ways to help with ovulation?
Vitex (its the main ingredient in the Fertilblend I believe) is supposed to help regulate long cycles. I got two bottles for like $8 on Amazon.
Cinnamon is supposed to help control blood sugar because high blood sugar can affect estrogen levels.
I also take a B complex.

I've read a lot about Soy Isoflavones taken as though it's "Nature's Clomid", supposed to induce early ovulation and lengthen LP. "It works by fooling your brain into thinking its estrogen levels are low. This causes your body to reslease more FSH & LH which helps stimulate follicle production (same as Clomid)." (for reference, see link below)
It can backfire if too much is taken and can cause annovulatory cycles.
The idea is to take 80-200mg (your decision) on CD1-5, 2-6, 3-7 or 5-9.
Here's a good "article" on soy as clomid: https://www.twoweekwait.com/newsletter/2006-01/
Personally, I am taking 200mg on CD1-5.
