Cloth Diapering

Best treatment for yeast

What is the best way to treat my cloth diapers for yeast?  DS has had what I suspect to be a yeast infection on and off for the last month.  I just can't seem to get rid of it.  It was finally gone and is now coming back.

TIA

  • Check this thread from yesterday. Make sure that you've completely treated the bum itself before you put LO back in cloth, that is the most important thing. Keep treating with the antifungals for a few days or a week even after the rash looks like it's gone. Follow the directions in the linked thread to get it out of your diapers. And don't be afraid of bleach, just dilute it down.

  • I just have to say the anti fungal meds are awesome.  Ladybugs bum looks 100% better than it did yesterday, and we just started the meds last night.  We will spend 1 week in stinky sposies and hopefully not have to do this again!  Sorry you have the yeastie beasties!
