i did it for a little over 3 weeks faithfully while breastfeeding & i lost not one pound. i lost 30 pounds right away after i had my baby and then i was stuck at the same weight until 9 weeks postpartum when i strated p90x. i would recommend insanity...unless you are not looking to lose weight. p90x IN MY OPINION is more for men and/or more for toning and getting muscles. Insanity is all cardio so you lose weight and tone.

Oh gosh! I LOVE IT! I have a 4 MO and am doing P90x now.
In my opinion you have to build that muscle to burn the fat all day even when you are not working out. I have done P90x before and I did not get bulky at all, I slimmed up. It is all about HOW you do it.
Also, the key to P90x is the meal plan and following it as close as possible. EBF makes it a little difficult becuase you may need more calories, but you can totally adjust for it without any issues.
It does take a little time and hard work to see the results, but if you stick with the program for the full 90 days you will see incredible results and feel better than you ever have!
I did both pre-pregnancy to get in shape before I got pregnant. I lost much more weight with Insanity, and stuck with it more because the workouts are a bit shorter and I find Shawn T less annoying than Tony Horton. Although, DH loves P90x so much better. I am glad I did both though because for a month after both I alternated doing both of them. I loved the P90X yoga and Kenpo and would do them even in my 1st trimester.
