Nanny pay question

Hi everyone -- I am still trying to work out a long-term child care solution. I went back to work last week and we have someone coming to our home through August. Right now, we pay our nanny $10/hour. She comes to our place and brings her daughter. My son is 3-months old. (We need care 2/days a week for about 22 hours).

I met with someone who is interested in watching my son in her home. She has a -year-old who will be in school most of the day. We'd be dropping my son off and picking him up.

What is the going rate for care in someone else's home? This is my first child, so I'm new at all of this. Thanks!

I'm not really sure.  I pay $12/hour for one child and will go up to $14/hour for 2 children (really 1 child 2 days a week and 2 children 2 days a week) for my nanny that comes to my home.  I also pay for any time that I am out of town.  I'm not sure if you would do less/more if its in thier home.
