What can I do to get pregnant this month??

Ok, so I haven't been on bc since 16 months before I had dd in November 2009. I nursed for 14 months and af returned in December 2010. Still nothing . I have been having a regular 28 day cycle since Jan this year and I am not sure why we have not conceived??? I do drink coffee everyday but just started drinking 2 cups of decaf in the mornings and no other caffeine through out the day. Also, I read that flaxseed and green tea help with fertility so I do drink 1 green tea a day and 1 serving of flaxseed either in my oatmeal or yogurt. What else can I do to get pregnant this time around? Af is here right now and according to the ovulation calculator I will be most fertile on the 8th of July... so do we get busy on that day or 1 or 2 days before my most fertile day? I have never done the temperature thing or paid much attention to cm but if you can give me any tips that would be fantastic. Thanks so much!

Hi there. You may want to read the link here to get started. Also, my gut reaction to your post was "To get pregnant, first you have to NOT be pregnant already" Your signature made me think you were already due in November 2011. You may want to update that.

It can take a healthy couple up to a year to conceive.

Make sure you're having sex during your fertile window (assuming that there are no physical reasons that you would be experiencing secondary infertility).  Sounds like you could very well be missing it since you're using an ovulation predictor.  You need to have sex while you're ACTIVELY ovulating, not when you THINK you will.  You should really consider temping and tracking your CF.

Chart your temps and use OPK's, have sex, and pray.  If there was a better answer to this question, we'd all be KU right now.

This 100% I would suggest signing up for FF to help you keep track of all this, it really does help. Good Luck!

All of this.  Plus wishing REALLY hard helps.  Oh, and being lucky.  And while your at it, throw in some extra good karma and maybe a voodoo doll of your pregnant self.  Throw all in together and viola - baby this month!   Good luck!
