My issue is that we have Oxford Liberty healthcare and all the referrals I have heard are for Global Pediatrics, who do not take Liberty. Can anyone suggest a pediatrician whose office is between 72nd and 90th St on the east side?
I've gone to Park Avenue Pediatrics for the last 3 1/2 years. They are on 90th between Park and Lex (1111 Park Ave but the entrance is on 90th). I really like a lot of the doctors so if mine isn't available, I still feel like I'm in great hands.
I really like Dr. Luttinger and Dr. Kozich (who is on maternity leave right now) but any of them are great- the only one I can't recommend in the practice is Dr. Kokotis- she just replaced the founder, Dr. Grunfeld who passed away and I haven't met her yet. But I've seen all the others in the practice and have no problem going to any of them - which is nice in an emergency.
I just googled and got the link to the practice. You can check out if you like them. The only negative I ever had at all is that they don't have a separate room for sick kids (vs. checkups) but it's a space issue at a lot of places. https://www.parkavenuepediatrics.com/our_doctors
I really liked Global pediatrics too- but they didn't take my insurance. A lot of people who can't go to global pediatrics seem to end up at Park Avenue Pediatrics because they do take a lot of insurance.

Re: Need Recos for a great Pediatrician on the UES
Hi - we go to Apple Pediatrics 157 E. 72nd.
They have a few pediatricians there. HTH!
