Hi ladies,
New to this board-- from Boston nesties-- moved down to Suwanee area a few weeks back. 30 weeks pregnant, have a great dane named Atticus {he's a sleepy old man of 2 and a half}, a husband that loves cars {which is funny because he's a skinny 6'7 man and can hardly fit in them he's so tall}, run my own home letterpress business {keeps me BUSY}, and am ready to explore our new location!
Wanted to just wave a hand out there to meet you all.
Anyone from the Suwanee/johns creek/duluth area: can you recommend your favorite pre-natal yoga studio? I have a recommendation from my doctors office {will be delivering at Emory Johns Creek}, but their studio only has classes at some ridiculous 11am on Mondays and 7:45 on Thursdays... looking for more availability than that... especially for folks that work full time.
Thoughts? Nice to meet you all!
Re: Hi! New to this area + board
Welcome!
My sister also runs a letterpress studio here in Atlanta. She's well connected with the Atlanta print community if you have questions or need resources. She also has a 2-month old. You can check her stuff out strongsilent.com.
And my husband is 6'2" and is a total car nerd (1960s-70s sports cars) and F1 fanatic.
Thanks MrsL! I'll eMail you to see if we can connect up about the yoga studio-- I've been dying to get back into it since I left Boston!
Hey there Myrall--
this is so exciting, I hadn't been able to meet with any other printers in the area yet, so thank you for her sister's link! What a beautiful press she has-- but i'm biased because I have 2 of the same.
Would love to connect with her to chat about folks she works with to get paper & ink- I'll drop her a line!
And those Husbands! They can get themselves into trouble pretty quickly. Case in point: we bought a home with a 2 car garage and there was no 'option' to have my car parked in there... just the two garage art cars {67 camaro and 01 Z06}. Nice, right?
