I have looked many sites and I can't find out if the Graco Lauren Convertable crib needs a conversion kit (I think that is what's called) to change it into a day bed/toddler bed? YES NO?
Ok I think I found it, but on BRU website it says, "This crib transitions easily to a toddler bed (no guard rail needed for conversion), daybed and full-size headboard; (bed frame not included)." I can't find the bed frame now...any help with that?
We have the Graco Stanton, so it could be a little different, but I assume it is pretty similar. For the toddler bed all you do is take off the front fixed side, and then you use it with the mattress on the lowest setting with only 3 sides. To use it as a headboard you just take off the sides, and then attach it to a regular full-size metal bed frame. HTH.
ETA: Just to clarify...there is no special conversion kit you have to buy to convert the bed.
