30 Day Shred / Ripped In 30 check in!

I didn't see a post started for today, so here it is.

I'm doing Ripped In 30 and today is my rest day.  I finished week 1 yesterday and I'll admit, I'm pretty scared of week 2 starting tomorrow.

Here were my week 1 results:

Thighs - down 1/4"

Arms - no change

Waist - down 1/2"

Hips - down 1.5" (I don't think this is right though, I must have mis-measured originally)

  • 30 Day Shred Level Two for the first time yesterday.  Just when I was feeling pretty good about my progress.  Ha!  Killer!  Dreading today.  Will be using lighter weights.

    I have been a bad shredder... plan to get back on the wagon tonight, but J had his shots today and tonight and tomorrow night may be write-offs if it is anything like the 2 month ones... 

    I am not even going to measure, since out of 8 days I have only done it 3 times... I might get 30 by Xmas, lol...

  • yesterday should have been day 8 of level 1 of the shred for me, and I skipped out.  I suck.  Got little sleep the night before and had no energy.  Will get back on it tonight.  Still have not done my measurements.  I probably should, because I am not seeing anything on the scale to make me feel like I am making changes.  I am just in an overall "blah I am a fat cow no matter what" mood today.  Confused
  • Just got the 30 DS today, and i am so anxious to try it tonight, glad to see it works though!

  • I have been a bad shred-er too! I hurt my back(not from the shred). Hopefully I will be up and shredding again soon! I did measure and I lost 1.5inches from my waist and a little over 1 inch from my butt. Everything else is still the same and  gained 2 pounds! So I do know that it is working, I just gotta get my butt in gear and get my back better.

    I have been walking too, so I don't know if that is helping while I can't shred.

  • I've done it 5x in the last 6 days, but I haven't taken measurements. This morning DH said my butt felt firmer, though. That's progress to me! Big Smile

  • Im on day 4 and feeling great! I am past the initial really soreness. I was dreading doing it yesterday b/c i was so sore but this morning when i did it i felt great. its still really hard but i can tell im improving.

    PLUS i made myself get up and do it at 5:30 this morning before work so now I am done for the day! YEAH!!! So excited and ready to start seeing results soon 

  • Hi! I'm jumping into this as I could use a little accountability in my life. I bought 30 Day Shred weeks ago, and did it once, then thought I would die, and haven't touched it since. I'm finally back at a place where I really want to do it, and my little one is finally getting into a semi-regular nap routine in the mornings which might make it possible. I did day 1 today, though didn't measure myself. Hope to check in every day for the next 30!
