Tummy Sleeper

Does anyone else's LO love to sleep on his tummy?  My LO is a tummy sleeper ever since he started rolling on his tummy a few weeks ago.  Not only does he sleep on his tummy, but he loves to stick his butt in the air and sleep on his knees too.

mine does the same thing. as soon as he could roll over there was no stopping him. and now that we're somewhat less freaked out by the tummy sleeping, he's decided to take it a step further and look like he's face planted against the mattress. he's really propped up on his arms and chewing his hands, but on the video monitor it looks like his face is smashed into the mattress. it's like he wants me to freak out!

Mine does the same thing! Seeing as he can roll over and has excellent neck control, DH and I decided that we were going to let him sleep on his tummy. He sleeps so much longer and better this way.

My DS faceplant sleeps on his tummy too.  Makes me nervous but there's nothing we can do!  He's determined!  My DH said he was a tummy sleeper all through childhood though too.

Yeah I just let it go now too because he seems to be very comfortable that way.  I was a tummy sleeper too so I can see why it's more comfortable for him.
