From my re's office on their iui stats, it says in the paperwork...that in 10 cycles over half are pregnant and 70-80% becoming pregnant within 12 months.
Well, it says specifically over half of the patients at my clinic have conceived in 6 cycles of donor insemination (where there are no female issues).
Well,.doing the math 11,463 is what it would cost for 10 cycles..I am already thinking about ivf...is that wrong? Is 10 cycles a lot? Or common since it is a donor cycle? I know this is only my second month, but it has really gotten me thinking...I am 32...10 cycles? I am not sure of my clinics SART stats...I guess I need to check into it...II am feeling hopeless, thanks for listening, sorry to ramble.
Re: So...after reading my paperwork

I am not sure where your post went Sabre...It looks like I am talking to myself.. I have been know to do that too...
I know...i think that is the national aversge using donor sperm...but my clinic says 6 for them over half are pregnant...it just seems SO far away...
The RE wanted me to schedule a WTF, So I will probably do that tomorrow... I think she is trying to do as much as she can cause she knows we are using donor sperm, and it isn't like we have an unlimited supply... We have 2 more vials left...
My sister thinks she might me trying to change my protocol... or just acknowledge my bffn...I don't know... but if it is just to acknowledge it and stay on the same protocol- I will keep my money for a video conference..
I know, right?! I wanna just move on to ivf, but, if that doesn't work, I will feel like I jumped the gun...we'll see what the RE has to say... but if we are talking like 17,000 for a shared risk program with 10,00 back if it doesn't work, I might want to just look into adoption... And I don't even know how that works with donor sperm... I never imagined that this would be my life right now. : (
