i am confused. Does it get like egg whites before or during o? or does it get like egg whites before o and during o it gets sticky?

When EW appears (shiny, clear, stretchy), you are at the height of your fertility.  The LAST day of EW and/or the slippery feeling (in case you don't actually get to see the EWCF) is considered your peak day.  As soon as it starts to revert back to creamy and/or sticky, ovulation has passed.

 

ETA: peak day is usually the day before ovulation or the day of ovulation
