Sensory Table

Anyone built their own sensory table?  I think I am just going to get a big tub for now but eventually would like it to be at a good height for L and eventually M to stand at.

Would a sand/water table work?  At my daughter's daycare, they use it for snow, rice, etc.  I have not done this at home, but am inspired by all of the homeschooling websites.

We just use a tub on top of a beach towel.  My kids don't seem to mind sitting and it takes up less space.
