Newbie and question about preseed

Hi all!

I've been lurking for a couple of weeks and decided to finally come out of my hiding!! This is our first month TTC #1 and we have decided to just take it easy for the first couple of months (no temping, OPKs, or anything...just lots of BD)

I had ordered preseed from the internet a while ago since I can't purchase it anywhere nearby of where I live but due to the wonderful postal strike in Canada right now my bottle of preseed is sitting on a shelf in a locked up postal office somewhere!!! We are using a very small amount of a water-based lube right now and I was wondering if anyone had success getting pregnant using just regular lube? Thanks for your help and good luck to all you ladies!

Most regular lubes are not sperm friendly, even if not spermicide. It probably depends on the brand and the active ingredients. Although, I have no idea what active ingredients to avoid.

The water based lube is still going to affect the sperm. Preseed is the only lube I know that is okay to use, other than than maybe just linger on the foreplay a little longer and not use any? And before I forget, saliva is also not good while TTC. Hopefully you'll be getting your package of Preseed soon. GL!

Try taking regular Robitussin to increase CM. Make sure you don't use the kinds with any letters after them.. they contain an ingredient to dry it up. But Robitussin contains guafi...something that helps.

I didn't have success with pre-seed.

Do you net get EWCM?   If you get watery or EWCM then you really don't need preseed.

Unless you're dealing sperm issues there's no real reason to avoid saliva. GL to you OP.
