So this is my first cycle actively trying with DH. I charted for 3 cycles before to learn my cycles, but we avoided the fertile window or used a barrier.
Anyway, I've gotten a smiley face on my DOPK three days in a row (tested at a few points during the day). Last night I got an open circle, but now the smiley is back so I think the surge is on its way out. Based on my previous cycles, I should O today or tomorrow.
My question is: How many days do you BD AFTER you get an open circle on your DOPK?
Re: OPK- When to stop BDing
Yes, this is correct. It only detects the LH surge which means your body is gearing up to O.
When we TTC in August (charting to TTA for now, boo!), I plan on BD until a day or two after a negative OPK comes back. May even go with EOD after the negative OPK until I see a confirmed thermial shift.

If you get multiple days of positives, especially on the digis, it's entirely possible that you'll O the last day you get a positive (so today). That's more common than not, in my experience (myself and looking at others' charts). If you're temping I'd keep having sex until you see CH; if not, for maybe 2-3 days after you start seeing negatives just to be sure. GL!
I agree with Squish! I wanted to add on a personal level that sometimes I get multiple says of smileys and sometimes only one, so don't count on next cycle you having 3 days of smiles, and not BD because you're waiting for the last one, KWIM? We have sex up until I get cross-hairs on FF, which is normally 2-3 days after my last positive OPK--so 2-3 days later.
GL to you!
DH is tired. I don't think he's going to want to BD anymore. Hopefully I'll O today.
