Help me decide

My parents are buying Coop a Thomas table for Christmas. Which one would you choose -

Thomas - Island of Sodor Play Table & Board

Or this one with the drawer underneath -

Re: Help me decide

  • Okay it wouldn't let me add the other link so here it is now -

Thomas & Friends All Aboard Play Table
Basically they are both on sale now, 1st one for $199, 2nd one for $168. I like the idea of  the drawer on the 2nd one but the 1st one looks more solid! Any suggestions?

  • I would go for the one with the drawer underneath .. that way you don't have to worry about boxes/bins for the trains/toys that belong on the table :)

  • That little drawer won't hold much at all.  Can you get sliding big bin/drawers for under the first one?   Like this one:

That's the table we have but in wood color not white.  I LOVE having those big giant bins.

    THIS

I don't know what we'd do without our huge drawers underneath. One hold trains and I'm sure in another year the others side with hold LEGOs (right now it's just random toys). The space underneath is a waste anyway so I say use it. Ours was a $30 C-list steal (see below). But I bet you could find one in the range of those others (or less). Plus, it's solid. He climb on top to build trains (he can't reach the back), and I let him. And yeah, one side is a chalkboard, we flip it all the time. Tiny house = ya gotta be creative!
