I need some help with my PFs

We brought our son home from the hospital yesterday and used up the last of the disposables they gave us this afternoon. Excitedly, I went to re-teach my husband how to fold the PFs and secure them with a snappi in our thirsties duo wraps (I know the snappi isn't actually necessary). 

I must be doing something wrong however, because when I tried the angel wing fold on him the diaper was just way too big on him, and the cover was barely working. We then tried to fold the PF inside the cover by tucking it in the flap up front, but doing this left barely any diaper on his penis and when I secured the cover it was being dragged all the way down to his butt crack by the bulk up front. I am using osocozy PFs sized infant (7-15 lbs) and DS weighs about 7lbs 8ozs as of our discharge from the hospital.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. My newborn stash is primarily the PFs but I do have about 8 KL0s and 6 Thirsties Duo diapers, as well as 2 fab fitteds, but that's hardly enough for a laundry rotation so I hope to get the PFs working ASAP!

For the cover, You might want to move it up a row of snaps to see if that helps coverage.
